This is not a "site". It's a newsgroup. This is Usenet, eh?

People offer things for sale here. Traffic is light. Unknown how
often people succeed in selling things.

The trouble with Newsgroups, is that people that once had regular access to
them lost it when their service provider dropped the access to Usenet. You
can still go through Google, but it is more complicated and with Kijiji,
there isn't as big a need to go to any effort to post in Usenet.

Also, most of the users are on Bell-Alliant, who still get regular feeds.

Anyone who's keen on Usenet can (at least for the moment) find a free
nntp server. See recent (Wed 08 Sep 2010) post to hfx.general by
lucretiaborgia for a lengthly list. There are also inexpensive
for-fee nntp services.

That said, Kijiji is probably a better venue in which to find a buyer
for most things.

is probably a better bet, though.
